Welcome Softball Umpires
Spring is around the corner...
Umpires:
We have two free on-field training opportunities in addition to our in-person and Zoom clinics this spring.
On Friday, March 14th there is an on-field training at the Maple Grove Dome starting at 3:00 pm. This is for the 2 umpire system. This clinic will be for those of you who will be working regular season high school games.
On Saturday, March 15th we are having our Eden Prairie training at the Eden Prairie Dome with sessions from 11:00-1:00 and 1:00-3:00. This will be for those umpires who are working or will work section tournaments this year. This is for the 3 umpire system.
The trainers are veteran high school officials and several of the MSHSL Softball Rules Coordinators. They are donating their time to help improve our softball umpires in our state. These trainings will count for your in-person clinic requirement but the umpires should plan to attend an in-person or Zoom clinic as well.
Please e-mail Rachel Palmer, umpyrp@gmail.com ASAP if you are interested in either of the above additional trainings.
Please send the following information: Name, email, phone number, city/community, experience level, and which clinic you are interested in. Space is limited.
In-person and Zoom clinic dates and information will be sent soon.
Thank you,
Rachel Palmer
